Kate Santry-Diston is an archivist, genealogist and writer who is passionate about uncovering the histories of everyday people.

With over 20 years of experience as an academic librarian and archivist, a decade of that at the University of Oxford, Kate has worked with a huge range of historic records. Her own family history research inspired her to gain a qualification in genealogy combining her professional skills with her passion for stories about people throughout history.
